Daryl is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and has been a professional chef for 8 years.  He has worked in fine dining restaurants and large institutions as well.

Daryl’s goal as Chef at Heather Heights is to bring is knowledge and experience to the residents, families, and friends.  His hopes to make each and every meal an exceptional dining experience.

Daryl feels that it is important that the residents enjoy both their food and the service they receive in the dining room.  It is his honor to do everything he can to make sure this happens.

2007 Co-Worker of the Year: John Hellis

John has been a Heather Heights co-worker for the past four years. He is a now Heather Heights Cook, although he previously served our residents in the housekeeping, maintenance, and personal care departments. 

John always comes to work with a smile. His positive energy and humor brightens everyone's day.  John is liked and respected by residents, families and co-workers because of his willingness to assist anyone in need.  It is a pleasure to have such a positive, hard-working person who truly enjoys being a member of the Heather Heights team.

In his free time John enjoys watching sports including his favorite team the Buffalo Bills.  John also has recently adopted a puppy named Lucky, to whom he now dedicates most of his time. Congratulations, John!
