Our professional chefs make each meal at Heather Heights an exceptional dining experience. They prepare three delicious meals per day and work closely with our registered dietician. We accommodate all diets, including low concentrated sweets and no added salt. The Heather Heights culinary staff will also prepare meals according to individual preferences.
Residents choose their favored dish for each meal from the choices on our country-club style menus. All meals are served in our elegant dining room by professional and friendly servers. We offer:

Meet Our Culinary Staff.

Culinary Director Daryl Cronk joined the Heather Heights team in 2007. Daryl is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America and a Finger Lakes Culinary Bounty Committee Member. His extensive professional experience includes serving as executive chef at many prestigious restaurants and institutions.
During his employment as a restaurant manager and executive chef at Heaven in Woodstock, NY, he had the honor to cook for many celebrities, including Ethan Hawk, Uma Therman, Liv Tyler, Match Box 20, and Stephen King. In 1999, he cooked for First Lady Hilary Clinton at the White House and received a presidential pin. As the executive chef at Geneva on the Lake in Geneva, NY, he cooked for Hilary Clinton as both First Lady and NY Senator, former President Bill Clinton, and Governor Eliot Spitzer.
Daryl’s goal as Culinary Director at Heather Heights is to bring his knowledge and expertise to the residents, families, and their friends. His hopes to make each and every meal an exceptional dining experience. Daryl feels that it is important that the residents enjoy both their food and the service they receive in the dining room. It is his honor to do everything he can to make sure this happens. |

Chef Jeff Wood joined the Heather Heights of Pittsford culinary team in April 2009. He is a 1991 graduate with High Honors from the Culinary Institute of America. Jeff's specialty is cajun and southern cooking, so stop in for our Mardi Gras celebration!
Jeff is married with two children and is active in scouting. An Eagle scout himself, Jeff is America's number one NY Yankee fan.
Asked about what part of Heather Heights he likes best, Jeff replied, "My satisfaction comes from seeing the expressions on our residents faces as they are enjoying something that I have prepared for them." |
