Family Fun means that Heather Heights will enrich your loved one's life with 24/7 recreational programming. We offer a wide variety of activities during the day, parties in the evenings, and more tranquil programs at night and early morning.
We encourage residents to celebrate their lives, experience, and contributions to the community. And, above all, we have a real blast!

"I love the live entertainment. I would have to say that Len Hawley is my favorite entertainer. He is friendly with everyone and is just like one of us. He belongs. I love watching the others dance. They are so happy." -Margaret
"I love the live music that they have for us here. I just wish there was a little more Rock and Roll. But, I bet if I tell someone, there will be Rock and Roll soon! They always listen to our suggestions." -Chuck

Your Heather Heights of Pittsford Recreation Team:
Leo Calabrese - Director of Recreation: “I come to Heather Heights everyday with one thing in mind … making a positive difference in our residents’ lives. Whether it’s staging a musical event, taking folks on an outing, recognizing a veteran in our newsletter, or just doing something nice for someone, it all boils down to one thing – treating our residents like my own family. I feel proud to be part of a great recreation team that shares these values, and consider it an honor and privilege to be a part of this community. The knowledge and experiences that our residents possess are amazing. In spending time with them, I have met a Lieutenant Colonel who flew combat missions over Germany in a B-24, an electrical engineer who holds patents, a 1st Lieutenant WWII Army Nurse, a published author, and a Navy Wave who served in the South Pacific. Everyone here has an intriguing story to share.”
Kristin Judd - Recreation Assistant: “I grew up in Brockport, New York and have always worked at jobs associated with recreation because I love to have fun! Now I am here at Heather Heights as a recreation aide and I could not be happier. Recreation is an important part of my life, and I strive to make it a part of our residents’ lives. It’s all about giving others the opportunity to be happy and enhance their overall well-being. I consider it a privilege to work at Heather Heights. Every smile and laugh keeps me coming back each day. The residents are fascinating and wonderful people and it brings me joy to bring fun and happiness into their lives.
Robyn Voorhees – “I consider it both a joy and a privilege to work as a Recreation Aide at Heather Heights. To put a smile on someone’s face, give someone a hug, lift a heavy heart or burden from someone’s shoulder makes my life rich and full of joy. It’s wonderful to be able to glean wisdom from our residents.”

"I try to limit myself to getting ice cream just once or twice a week, but then I see it or someone will offer to bring me a dish and my will power is gone! I figure, at my age, I deserve it more than once or twice a week." -Catharine
