At Heather Heights, we’ve put together a team of passionate healthcare professionals with years of experience. We are dedicated to the humanity, dignity and well-being of residents entrusted to our care, and our team acts more as a family than just coworkers.

Executive Director

Carrie Bardo

Carrie rejoined Heather Heights in early December of 2020. She previously worked as the Director of Personal care at our sister community, Orchard Heights. She also spent six years as our Administrator earlier in her career.

Assistant Executive Director/ Business Office Manager

Tiffany Arnold

Tiffany has been with Heather Heights for 20 years. Born and raised in the Rochester area, she is a mother to her daughter, Brooklyn, and a fur mom to her dog, Indy! Outside of the community, Tiffany enjoys camping and skiing.

Director of Nursing

Anissia Brown

Anissia has been a nurse since 2005 with a majority of her career in LTC. She was a clinical coordinator and nurse manager and has 20 years of experience as an LPN.

Anissia has 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. Anissia enjoys going to church and spending time with her family. She is passionate when it comes to nursing and and lives by the motto of treating others as you would like to be treated!

Assistant Director of Nursing

Paula Biuso

Meet Paula Biuso, Assisted Director of Nursing at Heather Heights. With a passion for nursing ignited at just 16, she embarked on her journey in long-term care as a CNA. She graduated from Rochester School of Practical Nursing in 1996, and has since cultivated a diverse background in hospitals, long-term care, and community health settings. Nursing isn’t just a career for her—it’s her passion, and elder care holds a special place in her heart. She is certified in dementia care and Eden training, and she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.

Admissions Director

Patricia Apple

Patricia is typically your first contact when researching life at Heather Heights. She would love to walk you through the admission process and show you around the community. Outside of work, Patricia enjoys Buffalo Bills games, being outdoors, and spending time with her nephews.

Case Manager

Rachelle Mandigo

Rachelle is a seasoned nursing professional with 25 years of experience, graduating from GVBB in 1999. Throughout her distinguished career, she has exhibited exemplary leadership and clinical skills, earning the respect of colleagues and patients alike. As a devoted mother to three sons and a daughter, she fosters a supportive family environment and delights in her role as a grandmother to a three-year-old grandson and three cherished grand fur babies. Beyond her clinical duties, Rachelle finds joy in playing the piano and nurturing her garden, reflecting her creativity and appreciation for beauty. With her unwavering dedication to healthcare excellence and vibrant personal interests, Rachelle embodies professionalism and compassionate care in the nursing profession.

Recreation Director

Jackie Powley

Jackie has been working in the healthcare industry for over 5 years. She is the last of nine children. Her love of the elderly came from her own parents who would be 102 years old today if they were still alive. Jackie loves making people smile. She and her husband have 2 dogs and a cat. In her spare time she is an artist and thrives drawing pet portraits.

Culinary Director

Andy Armstrong

Andy has been with Heather Heights for a total of 10 years as the Culinary Director. He is an avid runner, cyclist and triathlon competitor. Outside of the community, he loves spending time with his wife, 3 kids and dogs.

Maintenance Director

Mike Lee

Mike has had a long career in hospitality and has had world class training at Walt Disney world where he worked as a cast member. Mike is a husband and father and enjoys cooking gourmet food with family at home.

In his personal time he is off on adventures with his daughter at the playground or at the theater with his wife.

Assistant Maintenance Director

Erik Totten

Erik has been a part of the Heather Heights team for 2 years, starting in the culinary department then maintenance. Erik enjoys watching and playing sports, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
