At Heather Heights, we’ve put together a team of passionate healthcare professionals with years of experience. We are dedicated to the humanity, dignity and well-being of residents entrusted to our care, and our team acts more as a family than just coworkers.

Administrator

Carrie Bardo

Carrie rejoined Heather Heights in early December of 2020. She previously worked as the Director of Personal care at our sister community, Orchard Heights. She also spent six years as our Administrator earlier in her career.

Assistant Administrator/ Business Office Manager

Tiffany Arnold

Tiffany has been with Heather Heights for 20 years. Born and raised in the Rochester area, she is a mother to her daughter, Brooklyn, and a fur mom to her dog, Indy! Outside of the community, Tiffany enjoys camping and skiing.

Director of Personal Care

Anissia Brown

Anissia has been a nurse since 2005 with a majority of her career in LTC. She was a clinical coordinator and nurse manager and has 20 years of experience as an LPN.

Anissia has 3 adult children and 3 grandchildren. Anissia enjoys going to church and spending time with her family. She is passionate when it comes to nursing and and lives by the motto of treating others as you would like to be treated!

Assistant Director of Personal Care

Melissa Haynes

Melissa Haynes is the Assistant Director of Personal Care at Heather Heights, working closely with faculty to ensure our facility remains a place we all can be proud of. In her previous roles, she focused more on patient care. With twelve years in the healthcare field, her passion and commitment to making a difference is what makes her the nurse she is. Upon graduating from Wayne Finger Lakes BOCES-Practical Nursing Program in 2018, she gained the essential skills and qualities that are needed for quality patient service.

Sales & Marketing Department Representative

Patricia Apple

New to Heather Heights, Patricia comes to Heather Heights with a variety of experience.  While her professional experience thus far has been mostly sales & marketing, her true passion is in healthcare and serving others. She is an avid Buffalo Bills fan. Outside of work, Patricia enjoys spending time with her nephews, camping, and managing her fantasy football team.

Case Manager

Kellie McManus

Kellie has been with Heather Heights as the Case Manager. Her career in healthcare began in 1991 as a CNA. Most of her experience was as the case manager/Assistant Administrator of a 76-bed assisted living program.  Kellie decided to go for her real passion and become a nurse at 48yrs of age. She is married with 3 children and 3 cats. She enjoys cruising with her husband and will soon be taking her 16th cruise to the Caribbean.

Recreation Director

Jackie Powley

Jackie has been working in the healthcare industry for over 5 years. She is the last of nine children. Her love of the elderly came from her own parents who would be 102 years old today if they were still alive. Jackie loves making people smile. She and her husband have 2 dogs and a cat. In her spare time she is an artist and thrives drawing pet portraits.

Culinary Director

Andy Armstrong

Andy has been with Heather Heights for a total of 10 years as the Culinary Director. He is an avid runner, cyclist and triathlon competitor. Outside of the community, he loves spending time with his wife, 3 kids and dogs.

Maintenance Director

Mike Lee

Mike has had a long career in hospitality and has had world class training at Walt Disney world where he worked as a cast member. Mike is a husband and father and enjoys cooking gourmet food with family at home.

In his personal time he is off on adventures with his daughter at the playground or at the theater with his wife.

Assistant Maintenance Director

Erik Totten

Erik has been a part of the Heather Heights team for 2 years, starting in the culinary department then maintenance. Erik enjoys watching and playing sports, golfing, cooking, and spending time with his family.
