Team
At Heather Heights, we’ve put together a team of passionate healthcare professionals with years of experience. We are dedicated to the humanity, dignity and well-being of residents entrusted to our care, and our team acts more as a family than just coworkers.
Carrie Bardo
Carrie Bardo has been in the Senior Care field for over 15 years. She began her career at Orchard Heights, a sister property in Buffalo, as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Over the years she received several promotions within the organization including Director of Nursing and Compliance Officer. She relocated to Rochester and was promoted to the Executive Director role of Heather Heights in 2014.
Carrie completed her bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in healthcare management.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family traveling and cruising to different places they have never been to, along with cheering on her Buffalo Bill’s in the fall.
Tiffany Arnold
Tiffany has been with Heather Heights for 20 years. Born and raised in the Rochester area, she is a mother to her daughter, Brooklyn, and a fur mom to her dog, Indy! Outside of the community, Tiffany enjoys camping and skiing.
Paula Biuso
Meet Paula Biuso, Case Manager of Nursing at Heather Heights. With a passion for nursing ignited at just 16, she embarked on her journey in long-term care as a CNA. She graduated from Rochester School of Practical Nursing in 1996, and has since cultivated a diverse background in hospitals, long-term care, and community health settings. Nursing isn’t just a career for her—it’s her passion, and elder care holds a special place in her heart. She is certified in dementia care and Eden training, and she brings a wealth of expertise to her role.
Patricia Apple
Patricia is typically your first contact when researching life at Heather Heights. She would love to walk you through the admission process and show you around the community. Outside of work, Patricia enjoys Buffalo Bills games, being outdoors, and spending time with her nephews.
John Jakubonis
John brings over 12 years of experience in recreation, specializing in working with elders and individuals with special needs. A SUNY Brockport graduate, he discovered his passion for helping others pursue meaningful leisure activities early in his career. Outside of work, John enjoys making memories with his wife and three children, whether planning vacations or cheering on his kids in their favorite activities. A devoted sports fan, he can often be found rooting for the Rochester Americans, Buffalo Sabres, Buffalo Bills, and San Francisco 49ers with family and friends.
Andy Armstrong
Andy has been with Heather Heights for a total of 10 years as the Culinary Director. He is an avid runner, cyclist and triathlon competitor. Outside of the community, he loves spending time with his wife, 3 kids and dogs.
