Social Life & Activities

Living together means living better and longer. At home there
are fewer opportunities to socialize with friends and
pursue hobbies. The Heather Heights recreational
experience encourages and supports social engagement,
which studies have shown can have a positive effect
on physical and mental well-being.

Our Philosophy

Encouraging Friendship, Independence and Choice

Holistically designed to stimulate the mind, body and spirit, our robust programs offer something for
everyone. Without chores to worry about, our residents are busier than
ever before engaging in meaningful activities, enjoying our many amenities
and building strong relationships with friends.

Our Offering

Heather Heights Activity Highlights

Our 24/7 activities schedule is so robust that in addition to our two community rooms that have a constant
flow of scheduled events, we also have activities throughout the building, like on the patio or in the
movie theater. This creates an energetic and active environment, throughout the building, where
everyone feels stimulated and fulfilled. Some examples are:

  • Daily exercise programs

  • Music therapy

  • Live entertainment

  • A commitment to religious services, every Sunday

  • Weekly day trips

  • Classes and clubs – designed by residents

  • Friday happy hours & holiday parties

  • And of course, bingo
